SportsForce is led by Logan Baker, BSc., CSCS. A former international level Olympic weightlifter and current Provincial Junior Team Lead and High Performance Committee member for the Ontario Weightlifting Association.

Logan has been supporting the development of high level athletes in North Bay and abroad for the last 10 years, helping athletes from various sports attain USports and NCAA scholarships, get drafted to the OHL and NHL, and compete internationally in FISU World Championships, World Juniors Hockey Tournament, and more.

Program Streams:

1) Foundations of Strength & Conditioning

This program is designed for individuals with either no or limited previous training experience. Ideal for people with an interest in resistance training who would like the guidance of a coach to learn. Also ideal for young athletes who want to train to improve performance in their sport, but have limited experience with strength training.

2) High Performance Athlete Development

Our High Performance Program is designed for athletes with prior training experience looking to improve their strength, power, work capacity and sport specific conditioning for the upcoming season. These athletes will receive specialized programming that suits the needs of their sport.

3) Gymnastic Strength and Conditioning

Gymnastics S&C is a stream meant to support gymnasts by improving their strength, power, posture, balance, and to help reduce the risk of injury within their sport.

4) Olympic Weightlifting

The Olympic Weightlifting stream is for individuals who would like to join or continue to participate in our competitive Olympic weightlifting team. Beginners are more than welcome!

SportsForce Athlete Development Camp

Monday to Thursday from July 6th - August 27th

*No session Monday August 3rd in lieu of the holiday*

There are 3 sessions available, and only 8 spots available per session, these will fill up quickly.

9:00am - 10:30am

10:30am - 12:00pm

12:00pm - 1:30pm

Costs:

$800 - Full Camp (32 sessions)

$480+ - Choose your weeks - minimum 4 weeks @ $120/week

$120 - Try a week!

Please note, a YMCA Membership is required for registration of all programs, estimated costs are as follows:

Age 0-12 $11.50 bi-weekly

Age 13-17 $17 bi-weekly
