  • I understand that the 2026 SportsForce Athlete Development Camp involves physical activities including but not limited to strength training, resistance training, sprinting, jumping, agility drills, conditioning exercises, and other athletic movements. These activities may take place indoors or outdoors and involve the use of training equipment.

    I acknowledge that participation in strength and conditioning activities carries inherent risks including but not limited to muscle strain, sprains, falls, fatigue, equipment-related injury, or other physical injury.

    I understand that these risks cannot be completely eliminated even with proper supervision and safety procedures.

    I confirm that my child is physically able to participate in strength and conditioning activities and that I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or limitations on this registration form.

    I agree to inform the coaching staff if any medical conditions arise before or during the program.

    In consideration of my child being allowed to participate in this program, I hereby release and discharge the coaches, instructors, and operators of the program from any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from participation in the training activities, except in cases of gross negligence.

    In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize the coaching staff to seek appropriate medical treatment for my child if I cannot be immediately reached.

  • Our goal at Norsemen & Valkyries Weightlifting is to create a positive, inclusive and supportive environment where participants can push themselves to improve their athletic performance, learn how to safely and effectively perform resistance training exercises, speed and agility drills, and grow as individuals.

    In order to do so we expect participants to:

    - Arrive prepared and on time to their sessions (shoes, shorts, shirt, water bottle)

    - Respect coaches, other participants, the facility and equipment

    - Carry themselves in a manner that allows coaches to spend their time coaching, and not managing behaviour 

    Failure to adhere to these expectations will result in contact with parents/guardians.

    Repeated failure to adhere to these expectations will result in expulsion from the training camp.
